As a result of the Church of Scotland’s mission to reduce its number of properties, Auchtertool Kirk is on the list of buildings to be sold, let or otherwise disposed of within five years.
While the Kirk is still in use today, and recently held a very moving Service of Dedication with the Auchtertool Primary School children, it has a long history going back nearly one thousand years. The interior of the Kirk is beautiful and some of the most memorable features are the commemorative stained glass windows.
You are invited to come along to our wonderfully atmospheric Kirk to see these historic windows, hear about their origins and the remarkable history of the Kirk.
We are open between 2.00pm and 3.30pm on Sundays 4th, 11th and 18th of December - and we’ll have the kettle on for a cup of tea together!
All very welcome to join us on any of these Sundays.
